Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans chopped clams, drained (reserve the juice)
  • 1 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped cooked bacon (about 4-5 slices)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (preferably panko for crispiness)
  • ¼ cup reserved clam juice
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • Lemon wedges and fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F
  • In a large bowl, mix together the clams, green pepper, onion, bacon, Parmesan cheese, garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, bread crumbs, reserved clam juice, and white wine. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
  • Gradually add the bread crumb mixture to the clam mixture, stirring to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the dip is bubbling.
  • Allow the dip to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.
  • Serve with your favorite crackers, crusty bread, or vegetables.
