- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp melted butter

- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Finely minced sweet onion

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease a large, shallow baking dish
- If using frozen flounder, thaw it in the fridge for several hours.
- Place the flounder fillets in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with lemon juice, a bit of vegetable oil, and a tablespoon of melted butter
- In a shallow bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and lemon pepper. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. FAQ
Flounder cooks quickly due to its thin fillets. Typically, it would take around 20-25 minutes to bake flounder at 350°F. The key is to check if the fish is flaky and opaque in the middle when tested with a fork.
To pan-fry flounder, heat a bit of oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Place your seasoned flounder fillets in the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the fish is golden and flakes easily with a fork. Be sure to handle it gently to avoid it breaking apart.
Yes, you can. This recipe works well with any mild-flavored, white fish. Fish such as tilapia, cod, or halibut can be good substitutes for flounder. The key is to adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the fish fillets.
